Description
The NASTO is a garden spike light that pushes into soil or a planted border to throw a directional beam across the area around it. It runs on a 220-240V AC mains supply and takes a GU10 lamp, so the output and tone can be set by the bulb fitted. As a landscape spike light, the term used in the US, it sits on a pointed stake rather than a fixed base, letting you angle the head towards a shrub, path edge or low wall.
Staked into beds, borders and gravel areas, the NASTO suits sheltered garden spots, planted edges and the area beneath a covered porch or carport. Because it is a directional spike fitting rather than ambient room lighting, its reach depends on the lamp and the angle set, so think in terms of grazing a single plant or marking a short run of path rather than lighting a whole space. The head can be tilted to aim the beam where it is wanted, which makes it useful for picking out a feature or washing a textured surface.
Measuring 100 × 100 × 250 mm and weighing 538 g, the NASTO carries an IP44 rating, so it is splash-resistant and built for sheltered positions rather than fully exposed sites, direct water jets or submersion. The finish is anthracite, keeping it low-key against soil and foliage, and the spike base is staked directly into the ground with no recessing or fixing into a wall. The GU10 holder lets you choose your own lamp wattage and colour temperature. Other outdoor fittings in our NASTO range share the same anthracite finish.

Frequently Asked
Is the NASTO suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, it is rated IP44, which makes it splash-resistant and suited to sheltered outdoor positions such as planted borders, beds and the area under a porch or carport. It is not built for fully exposed sites, direct water jets or submersion, so keep it clear of standing water and unsheltered downpours.
Can the beam angle be adjusted?
Yes, the head can be tilted on its spike base so you can aim the beam at a shrub, low wall or path edge. This makes it easy to reposition the light as planting grows or the layout changes.
Does it run on mains or a transformer?
The NASTO runs directly on a 220-240V AC mains supply, so no separate low-voltage transformer is needed. It should be connected through a suitable weatherproof outdoor circuit by a qualified electrician.
Is a bulb included?
The fitting takes a GU10 lamp, which lets you choose the wattage and colour temperature to suit the effect you want. Check the product listing to confirm whether a lamp is supplied, as the GU10 holder is designed to accept your own.
