Description

The Molly is an 80cm circular LED pendant light with a rose gold aluminium frame that loops and intersects in a continuous sculptural form, housing an integrated 45W 3000K LED behind an opal silicone diffuser. The light output traces the contours of the metal ribbon, creating a floating illuminated shape that acts as both ambient source and focal object.

Designed for dining areas, open-plan living zones and bedrooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Molly hangs on adjustable cables from a rose gold ceiling canopy. The drop can be set between 60cm and 150cm during installation, allowing the fitting to be positioned 70-90cm above a dining table or lowered further in double-height spaces. The integrated LED driver supports both TRIAC and 0-10V dimming systems, giving compatibility with most UK trailing-edge dimmers and commercial lighting controls.

The brushed rose gold finish on the aluminium frame gives a warm metallic tone that pairs with copper, brass, blush-toned textiles and warm greys. The opal diffuser softens the LED output to eliminate glare and hot-spotting, distributing 4,050 lumens evenly across the ribbon form. The 80cm diameter suits rooms of 12-20m² where a single pendant provides primary or supplementary lighting. Yes. The integrated LED driver supports both TRIAC (trailing-edge) and 0-10V dimming systems. Most modern UK dimmers rated for LED loads will work, but confirm your specific dimmer model is compatible with LED drivers before installation.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 60cm to 150cm. For a dining table the pendant typically hangs 70-90cm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher. The 80cm diameter suits ceilings up to 3m without the fitting appearing undersized.

How is the rose gold finish maintained?

The brushed aluminium frame can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or smudges, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes that could damage the brushed finish.

What fixing is required for the 2.22kg weight?

The fitting requires secure fixing to a solid ceiling joist or a reinforced plasterboard anchor rated for at least 5kg. Gravity toggles are included in the box for hollow ceiling installation. If fixing directly into a joist, standard wood screws are adequate.
