Lunara 5 Light Crystal Pendant Light - Copper

The Lunara is a 40cm diameter pendant light combining a domed copper shade with cascading strands of faceted crystal droplets beneath. Five G9 bulbs sit inside the copper dome, casting light downward through the crystal strands and upward to reflect off the textured inner surface of the shade. The copper finish has a burnished, slightly mottled tone that shows tonal variation across the dome surface.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room seating areas with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Lunara works as both ambient and decorative lighting. The 32cm overall drop from canopy to lowest crystal point is fixed, positioning the pendant approximately 700-800mm above a table surface in standard ceiling-height rooms. The polished chrome canopy and suspension wires contrast with the copper shade, giving the fitting a mixed-metal accent that suits both contemporary and transitional interiors.

The copper dome is spun metal with a textured surface treatment that softens reflections and prevents the finish reading as too glossy or industrial. Below the dome, multiple strands of faceted crystal hang in a waterfall arrangement, each crystal cut with flat faces to catch and refract light from the G9 bulbs above. The combined weight of metal shade, crystal strands and fitting hardware gives the Lunara a substantial 4.7kg presence, requiring secure ceiling fixings on installation.

The five G9 bulbs allow for a combined maximum load of 28W, which typically translates to five 5-6W G9 LED capsules for modern installations. The copper tone pairs with warm greys, charcoal, terracotta and neutral palettes, and the mixed copper-chrome metalwork bridges warm and cool colour schemes in open-plan spaces.

Does it come with bulbs?

No. The Lunara requires five G9 bulbs (sold separately), with a combined maximum load of 28W. Most installations use five G9 LED capsules at 5-6W each, providing adequate light output without exceeding the wattage limit.

Is the drop adjustable?

The 32cm height from canopy to lowest crystal strand is fixed and cannot be adjusted on installation. For dining tables or kitchen islands, this typically positions the pendant 700-800mm above the surface in rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings.

How are the crystals cleaned?

The crystal strands can be wiped gently with a dry microfibre cloth while the light is switched off and cool. For more thorough cleaning, individual crystal strands can be unhooked from the frame, washed in warm soapy water, rinsed, dried and re-hung.

What ceiling fixing is needed for the weight?

At 4.7kg the Lunara requires secure ceiling fixings. If the ceiling rose is mounted to a joist or concrete ceiling, standard ceiling hook fixings are adequate. On plasterboard ceilings without joist backing, use cavity fixings rated for at least 10kg to provide margin above the pendant's weight.
