The rectangular frame sits against the ceiling with a 45cm drop, giving a substantial presence without needing the height clearance a traditional drop chandelier requires.

Designed for dining rooms, bedrooms and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.7m where a pendant would hang too low, the Luminique provides chandelier-scale visual weight in a flush format. The five-tiered crystal structure creates depth through layered refraction, so the fitting reads as three-dimensional rather than flat against the ceiling. The 80cm width suits rooms 4-5m across, providing proportionate coverage for a standard dining table or seating area.

Each tier holds rectangular crystal panels cut with angled facets that catch and scatter light from the six GU10 LED bulbs housed within the frame. The chrome finish is polished to a mirror sheen, adding reflectivity that amplifies the crystal's refractive effect. At 24kg the fitting requires secure ceiling mounting into a joist or reinforced fixing point, not just plasterboard alone. The GU10 LED bulbs (sold separately) allow control over colour temperature and brightness, with most installations using 2700-3000K warm white to soften the chrome and crystal combination.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 45cm drop from ceiling to lowest crystal tier works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.2m upward. Below 2.2m the chandelier may feel visually heavy; above 2.7m a drop pendant would typically be more proportionate.

What bulbs does it take?

The Luminique takes six GU10-LED bulbs with a maximum rating of 6W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose 2700-3000K warm white LEDs to soften the chrome and crystal reflections.

How is it mounted given the 24kg weight?

The 24kg weight requires mounting into a ceiling joist or reinforced fixing point, not plasterboard alone. Use appropriate fixings rated for the load, and consult a qualified electrician if unsure about the ceiling's load-bearing capacity.

Can the crystal panels be cleaned?

Yes. The rectangular panels can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth while the fitting is switched off and cool. For deeper cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the crystal or using household sprays that may leave residue on the chrome frame.
