Luma 6 Light Crystal Square Flush Chandelier - Chrome

The Luma is a 55cm square flush crystal chandelier with six G9 bulb positions housed within a polished chrome rectangular backplate. Multiple strands of faceted clear crystal drop from the chrome base, finishing in larger pyramid-cut crystals at the lowest tier. The 18cm drop from ceiling to base crystal sits flush enough for standard UK ceiling heights of 2.3m and above.

Designed for bedrooms, hallway landings, and living rooms where ceiling height limits the use of suspension pendants, the Luma provides the decorative presence of a crystal chandelier without the typical 40-60cm drop of a chain-hung fitting. The rectangular backplate measures approximately 55cm x 35cm and mounts directly onto a standard UK ceiling rose. The six G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit behind the crystal strands, with light refracting through the cut facets and casting prismatic patterns across the ceiling and walls when lit.

The polished chrome finish on the base reflects both natural daylight and artificial light sources, increasing the perceived brightness in the room. Each crystal strand is individually attached to the chrome backplate, allowing the fitting to be dismantled for cleaning or bulb replacement. The combined weight of chrome and crystal is 7.3kg, requiring secure ceiling fixings into joist or plasterboard anchors rated for the load. The rectangular form suits both contemporary interiors and more traditional spaces where a square profile integrates better with room geometry than a round chandelier.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 18cm drop from ceiling to lowest crystal suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above. Lower ceilings down to 2.2m can still accommodate the fitting if head clearance beneath walkways is not an issue.

What bulbs does it take?

The Luma requires six G9 capsule bulbs, each rated up to 28W. G9 LED bulbs between 3-5W provide sufficient light for most residential applications and are cooler-running than halogen. Bulbs are sold separately.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb type chosen. G9 LED bulbs marked as dimmable will work with most trailing-edge dimmers, but check the bulb packaging for specific dimmer requirements before pairing.

How are the crystals cleaned?

Remove dust with a dry microfibre cloth while the bulbs are off and cool. For more thorough cleaning, each crystal strand can be detached from the chrome backplate by hand, wiped with a barely-damp cloth, dried, and reattached. Avoid soaking the crystals or using chemical sprays.
