The Luma is a 45cm diameter crystal chandelier built around a polished chrome frame with four descending tiers of faceted crystal pyramids. Each tier holds rows of geometric crystal drops that catch and refract light from six G9 bulbs positioned within the central core, turning the entire structure into a reflective diffuser.

Designed for entrance halls, compact dining rooms, and smaller stairwells with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Luma provides both ambient and decorative light without the width or drop of a full-scale traditional chandelier. The 56cm height works in rooms where a larger chandelier would overwhelm proportions, and the geometric construction suits both modern and transitional interiors where architectural symmetry matters. Bulbs are positioned behind the crystal tiers rather than exposed, so the G9 fittings themselves remain hidden during use.

The polished chrome finish on the frame provides a cool-toned metallic that pairs with stainless steel, glass, white marble and cooler-toned paint schemes. Each crystal pyramid is faceted to maximise reflection under both daylight and artificial light, and the tiered arrangement creates a tapered silhouette that draws the eye upward. The chandelier weighs 10.4kg and requires secure ceiling fixing — the mounting plate is designed for direct attachment to a joist or ceiling box rated for the weight.

What bulbs does it take?

The Luma takes six G9 bulbs, each up to 28W maximum. G9 bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with LED G9 capsules rated at 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for warm white light and lower running cost.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs chosen. LED G9 bulbs marked as 'dimmable' will work with most modern trailing-edge dimmers. Non-dimmable LED G9 bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if wired to a dimmer circuit.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 56cm height suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In entrance halls or over dining tables, the chandelier typically hangs 700-900mm above the floor or table surface depending on ceiling height and the desired visual proportion.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off power at the consumer unit before cleaning. Wipe each crystal pyramid gently with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water can be used, but avoid soaking the chrome frame or the electrical components inside the core.
