Description

The Luma is a 65cm square crystal chandelier built around a rectangular chrome canopy from which four tiers of faceted crystal pyramid drops descend in symmetrical rows. Twelve G9 bulb holders sit within the frame (bulbs sold separately, max 28W per socket), and the light passes through and refracts across the hundreds of individual crystal elements to create prismatic scatter across the ceiling and walls.

Designed for rectangular dining tables, entrance halls and formal living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Luma's square footprint and linear arrangement suit rooms where the ceiling fixture needs to mirror the geometry of the furniture below. The 45cm drop from canopy to lowest crystal point allows the chandelier to sit 650-750mm above a dining table in a room with standard 2.4-2.7m ceilings, though the chain can be shortened during installation if needed. The polished chrome frame reflects the refracted light back through the crystals, intensifying the prismatic effect.

Each tier of pyramid crystals hangs from individual wire loops anchored to the chrome frame, creating a stepped silhouette when viewed from the side. How is the chandelier cleaned?

Each crystal drop can be removed from its wire loop for cleaning. Wipe crystals with a soft, barely-damp microfibre cloth and distilled water, then dry immediately to prevent water spots. The chrome frame wipes clean with a dry cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners that scratch the polished finish.

Is the 20kg weight safe for standard ceilings?

The chandelier must be fixed into a ceiling joist or structural beam using appropriate fixings. A standard plasterboard ceiling rose without joist support cannot carry 20kg safely. Consult a qualified electrician if you are uncertain about your ceiling's load capacity.
