Looping LED Pendant Light 54W 3000K - Matte White

The Looping is a 97cm diameter LED ring pendant light built from aluminium with a matte white powder-coated finish and an opal silicone diffuser running along the inner edge of the curved metal structure. The ring is suspended on four near-invisible steel cables from a circular ceiling canopy, creating the appearance of a floating luminous loop. An integrated 54W LED array inside the ring casts 3000K warm white light evenly through the opal diffuser.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m, the Looping provides ambient and task lighting in a single fitting. The suspension cables are adjustable between 75cm and 130cm drop, allowing the ring to sit 700-900mm above a dining surface or higher for general room illumination. The circular form works over round, oval and rectangular tables, and the 97cm diameter suits table lengths from 1.8m to 2.4m.

The matte white finish on the aluminium ring softens the metal surface and pairs with both cool-toned contemporary interiors and warmer Scandinavian schemes. The opal diffuser hides the LED strip from view and prevents glare when the fitting is seen from below or at an angle. At 3.8kg the fitting is light enough for standard plasterboard ceiling fixings when properly anchored, though solid joist fixing is recommended where possible.

The integrated LED is non-replaceable and rated for 25,000 hours at 3000K with a CRI above 80, giving consistent warm white output over approximately 10-15 years of typical domestic use. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations, not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor use.

Is the Looping dimmable?

The integrated LED is compatible with leading-edge and trailing-edge dimmers when paired with a suitable dimmer switch rated for LED loads. Dimmer performance varies by brand, so test before final installation to confirm smooth dimming without flicker.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable suspension cables allow a drop between 75cm and 130cm. For a dining table the ring typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. Lower ceilings can still accommodate the fitting if the cables are set to minimum drop.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED array is integrated into the aluminium ring structure and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for 25,000 hours, equivalent to approximately 10-15 years of typical domestic use at 4-6 hours per day.

What table size does it suit?

The 97cm ring diameter works over dining tables from 1.8m to 2.4m in length. For round tables a diameter of 1.2m to 1.6m is typically appropriate. The fitting can also be used for general room illumination when hung higher in open-plan living spaces.
