Description
This LED rope light is a round, flexible encased tube giving a continuous run of warm white light along its full 50m length. It draws 100W in total and delivers around 5500 lumens at a 3000K warm white tone, with a CRI of Ra80 for natural-looking colour. Measuring 13mm in diameter, it bends easily around corners and curves to follow the line of a roof, railing or border. Stateside this format is the familiar rope light, fed through its connection kit rather than cut like a bare led strip, so the tube stays sealed and weatherproof end to end.
Because it is a long, low, linear light rather than ambient room lighting, the rope is best thought of as an outline and accent run rather than a source that fills a space. It suits eaves, fascias, balustrades, decking edges, pergolas, archways and garden borders, where the soft warm glow traces a defined line after dark. Over a 50m length it covers a generous decorative run, enough to outline a sizeable roofline or wrap a long pathway, and it can be shaped to the contour you need. The even warm white tone keeps the effect calm and consistent rather than harsh.
The tube is sealed to IP65, so it stands up to exposed outdoor and wet locations including rain and direct weather. It runs at 210V DC and is fed via its controller and connection kit, which sets it apart from a low-voltage strip that needs a separate small driver. Rated for around 15,000 hours, the fitting weighs 7.50kg across the full 50m reel. The encased polymer construction is robust enough for permanent exterior installation along buildings, gardens and outdoor structures.

Frequently Asked
Can this rope light be used outdoors?
Yes. It is rated IP65, which means it is weatherproof and suitable for exposed outdoor and wet locations. You can run it along eaves, fascias, fences and garden borders where it will be exposed to rain and direct weather.
Is the rope light cut to length like a bare LED strip?
No. Unlike a bare cut-to-length strip, this is a sealed round tube fed through its controller and connection kit. It is supplied as a 50m run and connected via that kit rather than cut at intervals, which keeps the tube sealed and weatherproof.
How long is the run and how bright is it?
The reel is 50m long and the full run draws 100W, delivering around 5500 lumens at a warm white 3000K tone. That is enough to outline a sizeable roofline, balustrade or pathway with a soft, continuous decorative line.
How do I keep the rope light clean?
Wipe the tube down with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry it off; avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the encasing. Make sure the power is off before cleaning, and check the connection kit is dry before switching it back on.
