Description

This LED rope light is a round, flexible encased tube that gives a continuous line of red light across a full 30m run. Known in the US as led rope light or light strip, it draws 60W in total and is designed for outline and accent work rather than task brightness. The fitting runs at 210V DC and is fed through its own controller and connection kit, so it is not cut to length like a bare reel strip. At 13mm in diameter, the tube bends easily around corners, edges and curved surfaces to follow the shape of a building or feature.

Its weatherproof IP65 rating makes it suited to exposed outdoor positions and wet locations, so it can be run along eaves, gutter lines, balustrades, fences, pergolas and garden borders. The light it gives is a marker and decorative glow rather than ambient room lighting, throwing a clear red outline that reads well after dark along the length it traces. A single 30m run covers a long roofline, a patio perimeter or a marquee edge in one continuous sweep, and the colour holds evenly from end to end.

Built around a flexible encased body finished in red, the rope light carries an IP65 seal against rain and dust and is rated for around 15,000 hours of use. It weighs 4.46kg over the full length and is fed from its connection kit rather than wired direct, keeping installation tidy along straight or curved routes.
