Description
This LED rope light is a round, flexible encased tube giving a continuous line of light along outlines, eaves and decorative runs. The 15m length draws 30W in total and puts out 1800 lumens in a crisp 6500K daylight tone, so the lit line stays bright and even across the whole run. Across US listings the same product is sold as an LED rope light or rope tube light, fed through its connection kit rather than cut like a bare reel. With a 13mm diameter it bends easily around corners, posts and pergola edges to trace a shape rather than wash a surface.
Because it marks and outlines rather than lights a room, its job is described by where the line runs, not by a coverage area in m². It suits patios, balconies, fascias, eaves, decking edges, garden structures and feature outlines, indoors or out, where a clean continuous glow defines an edge or shape. Run it along a roofline, around a doorway or down a stair rail to pick out the line after dark. The full 15m gives plenty of length to wrap a sizeable feature in one continuous piece, and the daylight tone keeps the effect clean and modern rather than yellow.
The diodes sit inside a sealed flexible tube rated IP65, so it copes with exposed outdoor and wet locations as well as sheltered ones. It runs at 210V DC and is fed through its supplied controller and connection kit rather than wired direct or cut to length like a low-voltage strip, so set the length and feed point before fixing it in place. CRI Ra80 gives a faithful enough rendering for decorative work, rated life is 15,000 hours, and the assembly weighs 2.21kg. Other lengths in this rope light range are available if you need a shorter or longer run.

Frequently Asked
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. The rope is rated IP65, which means it is weatherproof and suitable for exposed outdoor and wet locations as well as sheltered runs. It is well suited to patios, eaves, fascias and garden features that see rain.
How is it powered and connected?
It runs at 210V DC and is fed through its supplied controller and connection kit, not wired straight into a socket. Set the run and feed point before fixing it, as a rope light is fed at the end rather than cut to length like a bare LED strip.
Can the rope light be cut or shortened?
A rope light is supplied as a fixed 15m encased run and is connected through its kit rather than cut freely like a bare strip. Plan the length you need and route the full run to suit, as it is not a cut-to-length reel.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the tube down with a soft, damp cloth and let it dry before switching it back on. The sealed IP65 casing keeps dust and moisture out, so the outer surface is all that needs the occasional clean to keep the light output even.
