Description
This K Series GU10 LED spotlight bulb is a directional mains-voltage lamp that twists straight into a standard GU10 holder, so it needs no transformer or driver. It draws just 7W while producing 1000 lumens, replacing an old 71W bulb at a fraction of the running power. The light is a crisp 4000K cool white with Ra 80 colour rendering, spread through a wide 100° beam that gives broader, softer coverage than a narrow spot.
Its wide beam and clean cool-white tone suit recessed downlight holders and surface spotlights in kitchens, hallways and living spaces, as well as track and multi-spot fittings where several lamps cover a room together. The 100° spread casts a generous pool of light rather than a tight accent beam, making it a practical choice for general task and circulation lighting. Output and tone stay consistent across a row of fittings, so a group reads evenly with no hot or cold patches.
The lamp uses a PAR16 spot light source in a compact white housing measuring just Ø50 by 58 mm and weighing only 30 g, matching the standard GU10 form factor for easy swaps. It runs on 220 to 240V AC mains through its twist-lock GU10 cap and is rated for around 15,000 hours of service. This bulb is non-dimmable, so it should be paired with a standard non-dimming circuit. It is an indoor lamp and the bulb itself carries no weatherproof rating, so any wet-area use depends entirely on the fitting it sits in.

Frequently Asked
Which fitting does this bulb need?
It has a GU10 twist-lock cap, the standard mains-voltage spotlight fitting. You simply push it in and twist a quarter turn to lock it in place. Unlike a GU5.3 or MR16 lamp, a GU10 runs directly from the mains and needs no separate transformer or driver.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
The LED draws only 7W itself yet gives 1000 lumens, which is equivalent to an old 71W halogen or incandescent spotlight. You get the same level of light for a small fraction of the energy. Rated for around 15,000 hours, it also lasts far longer than the lamp it replaces.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, this is a non-dimmable lamp and should be used on a standard, non-dimming switch and circuit. Fitting it on a dimmer can cause flicker or buzzing and may shorten its life. If you need dimming control, choose a lamp specified as dimmable instead.
What does the 100 degree beam angle mean in practice?
The 100° beam is a wide spread, so the bulb throws a broad, even pool of light rather than a tight accent spot. That makes it well suited to general and task lighting across kitchens, hallways and living areas. For a narrow, focused beam to highlight a single feature, a tighter beam angle would be a better fit.
