Description

The Joy Blockstory is a 6-seater modular sofa with white base upholstery overlaid by removable graphic covers in burnt orange, cobalt blue and red. Each seat module carries a different abstract illustration printed on European fabric, creating a composition that reads as sculpture when assembled and as individual graphic pieces when reconfigured. The sofa measures 340cm wide by 175cm deep when arranged in its standard L-shape configuration.

Designed for open-plan living rooms, studio apartments and creative office lounges, the modular layout allows each section to be separated, rearranged or used independently. The flat top cushions and low 75cm height suit spaces with standard ceiling heights while keeping sightlines open. The graphic covers are entirely removable, so the sofa can shift from bold multicoloured to solid-tone white by pulling the illustrated covers off the base modules.

Each graphic cover is printed on premium European fabric certified to 100,000 Martindale cycles, with water-repellent and anti-claw treatments applied during manufacture. The covers wipe clean with a damp cloth, and the solid white base fabric underneath provides a neutral foundation when the graphic covers are removed for cleaning or swapped for a different palette. The base fabric is available in six solid colour options if purchased separately from Nomu. Each module sits on low-profile feet hidden beneath the seat plinth, giving the sofa the appearance of floating slightly above the floor.
