Description
The Helio is a 5-light solid brass chandelier with five curved arms radiating from a turned central stem, finished in antique brass. Each arm terminates in a candlestick-style drip tray supporting an SES (E14) candle bulb fitting, and the central stem features traditional turned detailing with decorative acorn finials. The antique brass finish provides a muted, aged patina that softens reflections and gives the fitting an aged, heritage character.
Designed for traditional dining rooms, drawing rooms, entrance halls and period properties, the Helio works above a central dining table, in a double-height hallway, or in a formal lounge where ceiling height permits. The 52cm diameter suits rooms between 3.5m and 5m wide, and the 43cm drop from ceiling to lowest point requires a minimum ceiling height of 2.4m to maintain headroom clearance. The chandelier is supplied with chain suspension, allowing the drop to be adjusted during installation to suit the specific room.
The solid brass construction gives the chandelier a substantial 2.8kg weight, which contributes to stability on installation and durability over time. The antique brass finish pairs with wood panelling, warm-toned paint, heritage fireplaces and period architectural details. The five-arm symmetry provides balanced light distribution when paired with 40-60W SES candle bulbs (sold separately), and the chandelier can be fitted with dimmable LED candle bulbs for adjustable light levels.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Helio take?
The chandelier takes five SES (E14 small Edison screw) candle bulbs, up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in 2700K warm white for a traditional candle-flame effect.
Is the chandelier dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs fitted. LED candle bulbs marked as 'dimmable' on the packaging will dim on a compatible LED dimmer. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will flicker or fail on a dimmer circuit.
What ceiling height is needed?
The chandelier measures 43cm from ceiling rose to lowest point when suspended on the shortest chain length. A minimum ceiling height of 2.4m is recommended to maintain headroom clearance, with 2.7m or higher preferred for dining room installation.
Can the drop be adjusted?
Yes. The chandelier is supplied with chain suspension. The chain can be shortened during installation by removing links, allowing the drop to be adjusted to suit the room height and the position of the table or furniture beneath.
