Description

This recessed GU10 downlight is a fixed-position ceiling fitting from the Glozo range, supplied without a bulb so you can pair it with the GU10 twist-lock lamp of your choice. The bulb is not included, which lets you choose the wattage, tone and beam to suit the room. The housing is rated for a GU10 lamp up to 10W.

It drops into a 75mm ceiling cut-out and sits flush against the ceiling face for a tidy, low-profile finish. The round trim suits hallways, kitchens, bedrooms and living spaces, and works well in runs across a ceiling for even general lighting. Its IP20 rating means it is intended for dry indoor locations only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and anywhere exposed to moisture.

The body is aluminium alloy in a silver and black finish, measuring Ø89 mm across the visible trim. The position is fixed rather than adjustable, giving a straight downward throw once the lamp is fitted. Installation is a simple recessed fit into the 75mm aperture, with the GU10 lamp held in place by its twist-lock cap.

No, the fitting is supplied without a bulb. It accepts a separate GU10 twist-lock lamp, which you choose to suit the brightness and tone you want.

What size ceiling cut-out does it need?

It is a recessed fitting that drops into a 75mm cut-out. Check there is enough void above the ceiling to clear the housing before you cut the hole.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. With an IP20 rating it is for dry indoor use only, so keep it out of bathrooms, porches and any location exposed to moisture.

The housing takes a GU10 lamp up to a maximum of 10W. The fitting is fixed in position, giving a straight downward beam from the lamp you install.
