Description
The Coral is a 50.5cm diameter pendant chandelier built around a double-ring polished chrome frame, surrounded by vertically aligned clear glass rods that form a cylindrical cage. Six E14 bulb fittings sit inside the two-tier frame, casting light outwards through the glass rod surround and downwards through the open base. The polished chrome finish on the frame and chain reflects ambient room light, amplifying brightness in the space around the fitting.
Designed for dining tables in rooms with 2.7m or higher ceilings, entrance halls, and stairwell landings, the Coral provides both ambient and decorative light. The 38.5cm height positions the lamp heads within the glass rod cage, so the rods themselves become part of the light source as they catch and refract the bulb light. Chain length is adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to be set 700-900mm above a dining surface or 1.8-2.2m from floor level in a hallway depending on ceiling height.
The vertical glass rods are evenly spaced around the circumference, creating a fluted texture when viewed from any angle and softening the direct light from the E14 bulbs. The stepped profile of the two chrome rings introduces visual layering without adding bulk — the entire fitting weighs 8.2kg but appears lighter due to the transparency of the glass surround. The polished chrome pairs cleanly with cool-toned interiors, marble, grey tile, and stainless steel kitchen finishes.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take?
The Coral takes six E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for dining table use, or daylight-temperature LEDs around 4000K for hallways and stairwells.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb type chosen. LED filament-style E14 bulbs marked as dimmable will work with most trailing-edge dimmers. Standard non-dimmable LEDs will not respond to dimmer switches.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 38.5cm body height plus chain drop means the Coral works best in rooms with 2.7m or higher ceilings. For dining table installation, the fitting typically hangs 700-900mm above the surface, which requires at least 2.5m floor-to-ceiling clearance to avoid head-height issues when standing.
How is the glass rod surround cleaned?
The vertical glass rods attract dust over time. Wipe each rod gently with a dry microfibre cloth, working from top to bottom. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the chrome frame or allowing water to pool inside the fitting.
