Coral 5 Light Chandelier - Polished Chrome

The Coral is a 5 light chandelier built around a polished chrome frame supporting five arms arranged in a circular layout, each arm holding vertical crystal prisms that refract light across multiple angles. The crystal elements are held in chrome clips on both the outer and inner rings of the frame, creating a layered geometry that reads as both graphic and decorative. Each of the five lights takes an E14 bulb (sold separately).

Designed for dining tables, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Coral combines sufficient presence to anchor a room without overwhelming the space beneath it. The 56cm diameter suits tables from 1.2m to 1.8m length, and the 42cm height before chain suspension allows clearance above conversation or dining height. The chain-mounted suspension is adjustable on installation, so the chandelier can be set higher in a double-height hallway or lower over a dining table depending on use.

The polished chrome finish reflects both natural and artificial light, amplifying the brightness from the bulbs and adding metallic accents to the ceiling plane. The vertical crystal prisms diffuse light horizontally across the room while creating subtle prismatic effects on surrounding walls when lit. The 9kg total weight requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or ceiling rose rated for the load. The chrome and crystal combination pairs cleanly with monochrome, transitional and modern interiors without requiring warm-toned accent colours.

What bulbs does it take?

The Coral takes five E14 small Edison screw bulbs (also called SES or candle bulbs), sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K for dining areas, or 4000K daylight LEDs for kitchens and hallways.

What size dining table does it suit?

The 56cm diameter suits dining tables from approximately 1.2m to 1.8m in length. For tables longer than 1.8m, consider two Coral chandeliers spaced along the table length, or a larger single pendant.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power at the mains before cleaning. Wipe each crystal prism with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For deeper cleaning, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, dry immediately, and avoid spraying liquid directly onto the chrome frame or electrical components.

Can it be dimmed?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs used. LED E14 bulbs must be marked as dimmable and paired with an LED-compatible trailing-edge dimmer. Incandescent or halogen E14 bulbs dim on standard dimmers without additional requirements.
