Description

The Coral is a 5 light 2-tier chandelier built around a stepped cylindrical frame in polished chrome, wrapped with vertical glass rods on both upper and lower tiers. The two concentric drum sections sit one inside the other, each housing E14 bulb fittings that cast light outward through the glass rod diffusers and downward through the open bottom of the inner tier.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and stairwells with ceiling heights of 2.5m or higher, the Coral provides ambient light distributed across 360 degrees. The 41.5cm diameter suits tables of 1.4-1.8m length or entrance halls of 3-4m width. The chain suspension allows drop adjustment on installation, typically set 700-850mm above a dining table or 1.8-2.2m above a hall floor depending on ceiling height. The polished chrome canopy and chain fit standard UK ceiling roses.

The vertical glass rods on both tiers diffuse light evenly while creating linear texture when the chandelier is viewed from the side or below. The polished chrome frame provides high-contrast reflections against the translucent glass, giving the fitting a defined graphic presence in contemporary and transitional interiors. The two-tier stepped configuration adds visual weight and scale without the density of a solid shade, making the Coral suitable for open-plan spaces where a chandelier needs to anchor the room without blocking sightlines. What ceiling height is needed?

The 38.5cm body height plus chain suspension works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above. For dining tables, the chandelier typically hangs 700-850mm above the table surface, which requires a minimum 2.4m ceiling to avoid head clearance issues when standing.

Is the drop length adjustable?

Yes. The chain suspension can be shortened during installation by removing links. The chain conceals the cable run, so the drop can be adjusted to suit the room without visible wiring.

How is the chrome finish maintained?

Polished chrome is prone to fingerprints and water spots. Wipe with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, then dry immediately. Avoid household sprays or polishes that can dull the mirror finish.
