Description
The Candler is an 8-light crystal chandelier built on a polished chrome frame with a central decorative stem, eight curved arms and cascading strands of faceted crystal beads. Each arm terminates in a decorative glass bobeche that holds an SES (E14) candle bulb, and crystal droplets hang from the frame throughout the structure, catching and refracting light from the bulbs and from ambient daylight.
Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height stairwells with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the chandelier's 70cm diameter and 65cm drop (excluding chain) suit rooms of 4m x 4m or larger. The polished chrome finish reflects both the candle flames and the surrounding space, amplifying the light output and adding vertical presence. The eight bulbs are positioned on the outer perimeter, distributing light evenly around a dining table or across a hallway without creating a harsh central hotspot.
The chrome frame is mirror-polished rather than brushed, giving high reflectivity that pairs well with monochrome, cool-toned and minimalist interiors where a traditional chandelier silhouette is wanted without the warmth of brass or gold. The crystal beads are cut glass rather than acrylic, and they produce spectrum refraction when lit. The chandelier weighs 9.5kg, requiring a ceiling rose rated for the load and secure fixing into a joist or ceiling beam.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take?
The chandelier takes eight SES (E14 small Edison screw) candle bulbs, each up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a traditional candle flame appearance.
What room size does it suit?
The 70cm diameter suits rooms of 4m x 4m or larger. For dining tables, the chandelier sits comfortably above tables of 1.8-2.4m length. For smaller rooms or tables, the proportions will dominate the space.
How is the chandelier hung?
The chandelier suspends on a chain from a chrome ceiling rose. The chain length is adjustable during installation, allowing the drop to be set according to ceiling height. The ceiling rose must be fixed securely into a joist or ceiling beam to support the 9.5kg weight.
Can the crystal beads be removed for cleaning?
The crystal droplets hang on hooks and pins fixed to the frame. They can be removed individually for cleaning with warm soapy water, but full disassembly for cleaning is time-intensive. For routine maintenance, dust the crystals in place with a dry microfibre cloth or use a feather duster.
