Description

The Bosworth is an 80cm round coffee table with a smokey grey quartz top mounted on a trumpet-form aluminium pedestal base finished in antique bronze. The top is cut from a single piece of natural agate quartz, showing mineral veining and tonal variation in shades of pale grey, charcoal and translucent white across the surface.

Designed for living rooms and lounge areas where the coffee table functions as both a practical surface and a visual anchor, the Bosworth suits sofas arranged in U-shapes or facing pairs. The 80cm diameter provides surface area for books, trays and drinks without dominating smaller rooms, and the single central pedestal removes the leg clearance issue that comes with four-corner frames. At 38.5cm height the table sits at a comfortable reach from most standard sofa seat heights of 40-45cm.

The quartz top weighs approximately 25kg on its own, giving the table a substantial 31kg total weight that stays stable on rugs and hard floors without needing additional bracing. The natural stone surface shows different veining patterns depending on which section of the agate block was cut, so no two Bosworth tables are identical. Yes. Each top is cut from natural agate quartz, so the veining, tonal variation and mineral inclusions differ between individual tables. This is a characteristic of the natural material.

What size room does it suit?

The 80cm diameter works in living rooms from approximately 3.5m x 4m upwards. In smaller rooms the table can feel too large relative to the sofa; in very large open-plan spaces it may appear undersized unless paired with a substantial sofa arrangement.

How is the quartz top cleaned?

Wipe with a soft, damp microfibre cloth and dry immediately. Avoid acidic cleaners (lemon juice, vinegar-based sprays) which can etch the stone surface over time. For stubborn marks, a pH-neutral stone cleaner is recommended.

Is the table stable on rugs?

Yes. The 31kg weight and wide pedestal base provide stability on most short-pile and medium-pile rugs. On very thick shag rugs the table may benefit from being positioned where the base sits on bare floor rather than deep pile.
