What is the seat depth?

The overall depth is 100cm. Subtract approximately 15cm for the back cushions, giving an effective seat depth of around 85cm before the back cushions compress under use.

Is the velvet hard-wearing?

The 320 gr/m² polyester velvet is denser than typical budget velvet and resists crushing. However, velvet is softer than woven upholstery fabrics and may show directional pile changes where arms and hands rest frequently. Brush the pile gently with a soft brush to restore uniformity.

Can the cushion covers be removed for cleaning?

The seat and back cushion covers are not designed to be removable by the end user. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth and avoid rubbing. For professional cleaning, contact an upholstery specialist familiar with velvet.

Will the gold trim tarnish?
