Description

This adjustable spotlight is a recessed square fitting that accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, sold without a bulb so you can pick the brightness and tone to suit the room. It tilts through 20 degrees, letting you angle the light away from straight down and aim it where you want it. The head locks at the chosen position once set, holding the beam steady on its target.

The 20 degree tilt makes this a practical choice for accent and directional lighting: aiming at a painting or framed print, washing a feature wall, or picking out a shelf or alcove. Used in a run, the square trim sits neatly in line and each fitting can be angled independently, so several can pick out different zones within one space. Fixings recess into the ceiling for a low, flush appearance with the square trim sitting close to the surface.

The body is aluminium alloy in a white finish, and the fitting recesses into a 90mm cut-out, projecting around 40mm above the ceiling line. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor positions only and should be kept clear of bathrooms and any exposed outdoor spots. The GU10 holder takes a lamp up to 10W; the bulb is not included, and whether the light can be dimmed depends on the lamp you fit.

No, the fitting is supplied without a lamp. It takes a single GU10 twist-lock bulb, which you choose and buy separately to set the brightness and colour tone.

What size cut-out does it need?

It recesses into a 90mm cut-out in the ceiling. The fitting sits flush against the surface with around 40mm projecting into the void above, so allow clearance behind the ceiling.
