Description
This Addressable LED Strip puts each diode segment under individual control, so a single warm white run can be sequenced, chased or animated for dynamic effects rather than lit as one fixed line. It is an addressable (digital) strip, the form known in the US as a digital or pixel led strip, and unlike a standard reel each pixel responds to its own signal from a compatible controller. The light is a single warm white tone at 3000K, with per-pixel control of that white only, so it does not shift or mix colours. It draws 11W per metre and gives 1050 lumens per metre, running from a 24V DC supply.
Because every pixel can be addressed on its own, the strip suits architectural and decorative outlines where movement matters: cove and ceiling perimeters, stair runs, signage edges and feature walls that need a flowing or staged warm white sequence. As coverage is along its length rather than across a room, judge it by run rather than floor area, with 1050 lumens per metre giving a clear, even line of warm light for accent and outline work. Its IP65 rating means it is weatherproof and holds up in exposed outdoor and wet locations, so it works equally well on a pergola edge, eave or sheltered garden wall as it does indoors.
The strip is supplied on a 5 metre reel and cuts to length at the marked points every 10 centimetres, so it can be trimmed to fit a given run. As a 24V DC strip it is not a mains-direct fitting and needs a matching 24V LED driver, sized to the total load, rather than plugging into a wall socket. Colour rendering is high at Ra90 for accurate, natural-looking warm white, and rated life is 30,000 hours. The IP65 coating gives the weatherproofing for damp and outdoor positions. The wider range includes compatible controllers and drivers to complete the install.

Frequently Asked
Does this strip need a driver?
Yes. It is a 24V DC strip, so it cannot run directly from the mains and requires a matching 24V LED driver. Size the driver to the total wattage of the length you install, allowing 11W for every metre of strip used.
Can it be cut to length?
Yes. The strip cuts to length at the marked points spaced every 10 centimetres along the reel. Only cut on those marks so the addressable pixels and connections stay intact, and rejoin sections using compatible connectors or solder.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. The IP65 rating makes it weatherproof and suitable for exposed outdoor and wet locations, including pergolas, eaves and sheltered garden walls. The driver and any controller it connects to should be housed in a suitably protected enclosure away from direct water.
Does it change colour?
No. This is a single-tone warm white addressable strip at 3000K, so each pixel controls only white light. It lets you create chasing and sequenced effects in warm white rather than shifting between colours, with high Ra90 colour rendering for a natural look.
