Description

The Knightsbridge SFR9909BC is a 13A 2-gang DP switched socket with dual USB charging ports — one USB-A and one USB-C — delivering up to 18W shared output for fast charging. The socket features a brushed chrome faceplate with black inserts behind the outlets and switches, providing contrast against the brushed stainless steel finish. Double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the socket is turned off.

Designed for kitchens, home offices and living spaces where both mains power and USB charging are needed in the same location, the socket fits standard UK 25-35mm back boxes depending on wiring conditions. The USB-C port supports USB Power Delivery protocols, while the USB-A port retains compatibility with older devices and cables. Both ports share the 18W output, so charging speed adjusts when two devices are connected simultaneously.

The 201 stainless steel construction gives the faceplate durability against scratches and tarnishing, while the brushed finish reduces visible fingerprints compared to polished chrome. The rounded edge profile sits 9.3mm proud of the wall once installed, with a recessed depth of 24.5mm behind the faceplate.
