Description

The Perdita is a large chandelier from our Perdita range, built around a matt black fitting hung with rectangular crystal drops. The dark frame holds thirty lamp arms, and the crystal catches and spreads the light across the room. It is one of the bigger fittings we offer, with a wide spread and plenty of presence overhead. The black finish keeps the metalwork understated, letting the crystal do the work.

The chandelier measures 1000mm in diameter, so it needs a generous amount of space around and below it. The drop adjusts from a minimum of 800mm to a maximum of 2580mm, which gives you room to set it for a standard ceiling or a tall stairwell. It takes 30 x E14 lamps, up to 10W each, for a maximum fitting wattage of 300W and a total output of 14100 lumens. Lamps are not supplied, so please order these separately. The fitting is dimmable, rated IP20 for interior use, and is Class 1, meaning it requires an earth connection.

This suits rooms with height and floor space to carry a fitting of this size, such as a large hallway, a double-height landing or a formal dining room. Given the width and weight, we recommend fitting by a qualified electrician onto a secure ceiling point.
