The Metro wall light brings together matt black and satin brass in a single, well balanced fitting from our Metro range. It carries a modern subway tile design, with smoked glass giving the light a soft, warm cast once switched on. The two tone finish keeps things simple, letting the shape of the frame and the panelled glass do the work. The smoked glass shade is included in the price, so the fitting arrives ready to mount.

The light measures 240mm in height and 140mm in width, with a projection of 210mm from the wall, so it sits fairly close without crowding the space around it. It takes one E14 lamp with a maximum of 10W, and lamps are not supplied, so you can choose your own to suit the room. Output is rated at 470 lumens. The fitting is dimmable, so you can set the level to suit the time of day, and it is rated IP20 for interior use. It is a Class 1 fitting and weighs 1.13kg.

This wall light suits hallways, landings and bedside walls, as well as living rooms where you want a warmer, lower light beside a sofa or reading chair. A pair either side of a bed or a mirror works well, and the black and brass finish sits comfortably against both pale and darker walls.
