Description

The LumiLife 50W LED floodlight delivers 6000 lumens of 5000K cool white light through an integrated LED array housed in a compact black die-cast aluminium body. The IP65-rated housing seals against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making it suitable for exposed outdoor locations subject to rain, snow and wind-driven moisture.

Designed for security lighting, car park illumination, loading bay access and perimeter coverage, the floodlight mounts via an adjustable steel bracket that allows the light to be angled after installation. The bracket accommodates both wall mounting (vertical surfaces such as building facades, garage walls, boundary walls) and ground mounting (concrete bases, post-mount applications). The 6000-lumen output provides enough throw to light a typical 8m x 8m driveway or a 10m-long pathway from a single mounting point at 3-4m height.

The 5000K colour temperature produces a neutral cool white light that renders colours accurately and provides high contrast for identifying faces, vehicle registration plates and movement in security applications. The black powder-coated finish on the aluminium housing resists corrosion in coastal and industrial environments and blends into dark-coloured building exteriors without standing out visually during daylight. The floodlight operates on 230V AC mains with no separate driver required, and cable entry is via a pre-fitted gland at the rear of the housing.

What area does this floodlight cover?

The 6000-lumen output typically covers an 8m x 8m area when mounted at 3-4m height. Coverage depends on mounting height, angle and whether the application requires broad wash or focused throw. For larger areas such as car parks or loading bays, multiple units spaced 10-12m apart provide even illumination.

Can it be used in exposed coastal locations?

Yes. The IP65 rating protects against water jets and salt-laden moisture, and the powder-coated aluminium housing resists corrosion. For installations within 1km of the coast, periodic rinsing with fresh water extends the finish life.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated LED runs on mains voltage without a separate driver, and does not support dimming. The output is fixed at 6000 lumens when powered.

What cable entry does it use?

The floodlight has a pre-fitted cable gland at the rear of the housing. Standard 1.5mm² three-core flex feeds through the gland and connects to the internal terminal block. The gland compresses around the cable sheath to maintain the IP65 seal.
