Description

The LumiLife 200W LED floodlight delivers 24,000 lumens at 5000K daylight colour temperature through an integrated LED array behind a toughened glass diffuser. The die-cast aluminium body houses the LED driver and heat sink, with side-mounted adjustment brackets allowing the fitting to be angled 0-90° on wall or ground mounts.

Designed for commercial forecourts, warehouse yards, sports facilities, large car parks and building perimeters, the 110° beam angle covers approximately 20-25m width when mounted 6-8m high. The IP65 rating seals the housing against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction, making the floodlight suitable for permanent outdoor installation in UK weather conditions. The fitting draws 200W on 230V mains and is rated for up to 50,000 hours operational life.

The matt black powder-coated aluminium finish resists UV degradation and salt corrosion in coastal environments. The glass diffuser is impact-resistant and secures with stainless steel fixings that will not rust or seize during the fitting's service life. The 5000K colour temperature produces crisp daylight-white illumination that improves colour rendering for security camera footage and reduces eye strain during outdoor work tasks compared to cooler 6500K alternatives.

What mounting height works best?

The 110° beam angle is optimised for mounting heights between 4-8m. At 6m height the floodlight covers approximately 20-25m width depending on the angle of tilt. Lower mounting increases brightness but reduces coverage area; higher mounting spreads the light wider but with lower intensity at ground level.

Is it suitable for coastal locations?

Yes. The die-cast aluminium body has a powder-coated finish that resists salt corrosion, and the IP65 rating protects internal components from moisture ingress. The glass diffuser and stainless steel fixings will not degrade in salt air.

Can it be used in bathroom zones?

The IP65 rating makes this floodlight suitable for outdoor use and bathroom zones 1, 2 and 3. It cannot be used in zone 0 (inside a bath or shower tray where it would be subject to water immersion).

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED array is integrated into the floodlight housing and cannot be replaced separately. The fitting is rated for 50,000 hours, which translates to approximately 11 years of operation at 12 hours per day.
