Description
The LumiLife 100W LED floodlight is a die-cast aluminium outdoor light delivering 12,000 lumens at 5000K daylight colour temperature through an integrated LED array behind a glass diffuser. The black aluminium housing carries an IP65 rating, providing full protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction.
Designed for driveways, building façades, car parks, industrial yards, sports courts and large garden areas, the 110° beam angle provides broad, even coverage over a wide horizontal spread. The floodlight mounts to walls or ground stakes via the adjustable bracket, allowing the head to be angled between 0° and 90° from horizontal. The 5000K colour temperature produces a bright, neutral-white light that renders colours accurately and suits security, task and general area lighting applications where clear visibility is needed after dark.
The die-cast aluminium body dissipates heat efficiently, keeping the LED array within operating temperature and contributing to the rated 50,000-hour lifespan. The glass diffuser is impact-resistant and sealed with a silicone gasket against the housing. The floodlight operates on 230V mains without requiring an external driver or transformer, and the integrated LED cannot be replaced — when the unit reaches end of life, the entire fitting is replaced.

Frequently Asked
What area does the 100W floodlight cover?
The 110° beam angle and 12,000-lumen output typically cover a driveway or patio area of 40-60 square metres with adequate illumination for security and navigation. For larger areas or brighter requirements, multiple units spaced 8-10m apart provide even coverage.
Can it be used in all weather conditions?
Yes. The IP65 rating confirms full dust protection and resistance to low-pressure water jets from any direction, making the floodlight suitable for permanent outdoor installation in UK weather including rain, sleet and snow. It is not submersible and should not be installed where it may be submerged.
Is the LED replaceable?
No. The LED array is integrated into the floodlight and cannot be replaced. The rated 50,000-hour lifespan equates to approximately 11 years of operation at 12 hours per day. When the LED fails or dims significantly, the entire fitting is replaced.
What colour is the light output?
The 5000K colour temperature produces a neutral daylight white — noticeably cooler and bluer than warm white (2700K-3000K) domestic lighting, but not as stark as 6000K+ cool white. This tone suits security lighting, commercial premises and task areas where accurate colour rendering and visibility are priorities.
