Description
The Knightsbridge 20mm bi-metal holesaw features variable 4/6 teeth per inch (TPI) geometry designed to cut through steel, stainless steel, die-cast metals, hardwood flooring, plywood and plastics. The bi-metal construction combines a high-speed steel cutting edge with a spring steel body, providing edge retention when cutting harder materials and flexibility to resist cracking under load.
Designed for electricians and installers cutting 20mm knockouts for cable glands, conduit entries and junction box feeds, the holesaw delivers a 38mm maximum cutting depth in a single pass. This suits most standard wall thicknesses and panel materials encountered in residential and commercial electrical installation. The saw requires a separate arbor (Knightsbridge HSARBORS) to mount onto a drill chuck.
The 20mm diameter produces the exact cutout size needed for M20 cable glands and 20mm conduit entries, with minimal tolerance variance between cuts. The yellow epoxy coating on the body reduces corrosion from exposure to metal filings and cutting fluids, and provides quick visual identification when selecting from a set of multiple holesaw sizes on site.

Frequently Asked
What arbor does this holesaw need?
The 20mm holesaw requires a separate arbor to mount onto a drill chuck. Knightsbridge supplies a compatible arbor under part number HSARBORS, which includes a pilot drill bit and fits standard 13mm (1/2 inch) drill chucks.
What materials can it cut?
The bi-metal construction and 4/6 TPI variable tooth geometry allow it to cut steel, stainless steel, die-cast metals, hardwood floors, plywood and plastics. It is not designed for masonry, brick, concrete or ceramic tile.
How deep can it cut in one pass?
The 38mm cutting depth allows the holesaw to penetrate most standard wall panels, back boxes and enclosure materials in a single pass without needing to cut from both sides.
Is the cutting edge replaceable?
No. Bi-metal holesaws are consumable tools. Once the teeth are worn or damaged, the entire holesaw body is replaced rather than re-sharpening or swapping cutting edges.
