Description

The Icicle 16 Light Chandelier is a large pendant finished in aged brass, part of our Icicle range. It carries sixteen lamps set among ice cubed shaped glass panels that sit at varying heights. As light passes through them, the glass refracts and scatters it across the surrounding space. The aged brass gives the frame a soft, warm tone that settles well against both pale and darker interiors.

The glass panels are included in the price. The lamps are not supplied, so you will need sixteen E14 lamps, each up to 10W, giving a maximum fitting wattage of 160W and up to 7520 lumens when fully lit. The fitting is dimmable, so you can set the level to suit the room. It measures 810mm in diameter and 700mm in height, with an adjustable drop from a minimum of 700mm to a maximum of 2540mm, letting you hang it to the right level for your ceiling. It is rated IP20 for interior use, is Class 1, and weighs 47kg, so a suitable fixing and ceiling are needed.

With its scale and spread of light, this chandelier suits larger rooms such as a hallway, a stairwell or an open dining and living space where the drop can be shown to good effect. The adjustable drop makes it workable over tall voids as well as standard ceilings. Given the weight, we would suggest fitting by a qualified electrician.
