Glaera Outdoor LED Wall Light 6W 4000K IP65 - White

The Glaera is a 90mm cube outdoor wall light with an integrated 6W LED delivering 4000K neutral white light through a tempered glass diffuser. The body is die-cast aluminium finished in white powder coat, with a white internal reflector that directs light downward and outward from the base of the cube.

Designed for external use on building entrances, patios, driveways and perimeter walls, the Glaera carries an IP65 rating protecting the LED module and driver from dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. The compact 90mm width and 102mm projection suit tight mounting positions beside doors, on gate posts, or in narrow alcoves where a larger fitting would protrude too far. The 4000K colour temperature provides task-level visibility for keyholes, pathways and steps without the warm amber cast of 3000K or the clinical blue-white of 6000K.

The die-cast aluminium construction resists corrosion in coastal and high-rainfall environments better than sheet-metal alternatives, and the powder coat finish bonds directly to the metal surface rather than sitting as a separate paint layer. Can the Glaera be used in bathrooms?

Yes. The IP65 rating makes it suitable for bathroom zones 1 and 2 (outside the shower enclosure but within the wet room area), as well as any external application including exposed coastal locations.

What does 4000K colour temperature look like?

4000K is neutral white, sitting between warm white (2700K-3000K) and cool white (5000K-6500K). It provides clear visibility for tasks like unlocking doors or reading house numbers without the yellow tone of warmer LEDs or the blue-white clinical feel of cooler ones.

Does it require an external driver or transformer?

No. The Glaera runs directly from 230V mains and contains its own integrated driver inside the housing. It connects to a standard outdoor junction box the same way a traditional external bulkhead would.

How is the light distributed?

The white internal reflector directs most of the light downward and outward from the base of the cube, creating a wash of light on the wall surface below the fitting and the ground immediately in front. Some light also escapes forward through the glass diffuser.
