The Franklite Aviary 4 Light Pendant is an open metalwork lantern in a matt black and chrome finish. Its four sided cage shape has a light, airy feel, with the metal frame left open so the four lamps sit within the structure. There is no glass and no shade, so the form itself does the work, giving a contemporary look that reads well against both plain and busy backgrounds. This is the small size in our Aviary range.

The lantern measures 400mm wide and 400mm long, with a body height of 590mm. It hangs on an adjustable suspension, giving a minimum drop of 590mm and a maximum drop of 1990mm, so you can set the height to suit your ceiling. It takes four E14 lamps up to 5W each, with a maximum fitting wattage of 40W and an output of up to 1880 lumens. Lamps are not supplied, so please order these separately. The fitting is dimmable when paired with suitable dimmable lamps and a compatible dimmer switch. It is rated IP20 and is Class 1, for interior use only. Weight is 4.40kg.

The open cage shape suits a hallway, a stairwell, above a dining table or in a kitchen where you want some presence without a solid, heavy fitting.
