Description
The Eveready 30W LED floodlight delivers 3150 lumens at 4000K cool white through an integrated LED array housed in a die-cast aluminium body with a tempered glass front. Rated IP65, the fitting resists water jets and dust ingress, making it suitable for outdoor installation in UK weather conditions year-round. The 120-degree beam angle provides wide-area coverage without multiple fittings.
Designed for gardens, driveways, car parks, building perimeters and commercial premises, the floodlight mounts via a quick-fix bracket that pivots to direct light where needed. The bracket accepts both wall and ground mounting, and the compact 188mm height allows installation in shallow eaves or tight facade positions. At 105 lumens per watt, the 30W fitting outputs comparable light to a 250W halogen floodlight while drawing significantly less power.
The die-cast aluminium construction dissipates heat efficiently, extending LED lifespan beyond 25,000 hours under typical outdoor use. The black finish is powder-coated for corrosion resistance in coastal and industrial environments. The tempered glass lens withstands impact and thermal shock, maintaining optical clarity through temperature fluctuations. The floodlight operates on 230V mains via a fixed cable gland entry on the rear of the body.

Frequently Asked
Can this be used in a bathroom or near a pool?
The IP65 rating allows use in bathroom Zones 1, 2 and 3, but not Zone 0 (directly inside the bath or shower tray). For pool surrounds, the floodlight is suitable at distances above 2.5m from the water's edge, but check local building regulations for specific pool lighting requirements.
What mounting height gives best coverage?
The 120-degree beam angle works well at mounting heights between 2.5m and 4m. At 3m height, the floodlight illuminates a ground area of approximately 5m x 5m with usable light levels for security and general outdoor tasks.
Is the LED replaceable?
No. The LED array is integrated into the floodlight body and is not user-replaceable. The unit is rated for 25,000+ hours, equivalent to approximately 8-10 years of typical evening-only outdoor use.
Does it need an external junction box?
The floodlight has a rear cable gland entry that accepts the mains feed cable directly. Most installations run mains cable from an outdoor junction box or indoor consumer unit to the floodlight position, then pass the cable through the gland. A weatherproof junction box is recommended where the feed cable terminates outdoors.
