Description

The Eveready 100W LED floodlight delivers 9000 lumens at 4000K cool white through an array of SMD 2835 LED chips mounted behind a tempered glass front panel. The die-cast aluminium body houses the integrated LED driver and heat sink, with a stainless steel mounting bracket fixed to the rear casting allowing the floodlight to tilt on installation.

Designed for outdoor security lighting, building facades, car parks, loading bays and general commercial area lighting, the floodlight carries an IP65 rating for dust and water jet resistance, making it suitable for year-round outdoor use. The 110-degree beam angle provides wide-area coverage, reducing the number of fittings needed to light larger spaces. The mounting bracket includes slotted holes for wall or ground-spike fixing, and the 30cm cable lead terminates ready for connection to mains supply via a waterproof junction box.

The die-cast aluminium body and finned rear heat sink dissipate the LED heat load, allowing the floodlight to operate in ambient temperatures from -20°C to +40°C without thermal shutdown. The black powder-coated finish provides corrosion resistance in coastal and industrial environments. At 90 lumens per watt, the floodlight replaces metal halide or halogen equivalents rated at 400-500W while drawing 100W on 220-240V mains. The IK06 impact rating protects the front glass and internal components from accidental knocks during installation or maintenance.

Can this be used for garden or driveway security lighting?

Yes. The IP65 rating makes the floodlight suitable for permanent outdoor installation exposed to rain and weather. The 4000K cool white light provides clear visibility for security cameras and motion detection. Mount it under an eave, on a wall bracket, or on a ground spike depending on the coverage area needed.

Is the floodlight dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming control. The floodlight operates at full 9000lm output when powered on.

What beam angle does it provide?

The 110-degree beam angle gives wide-area flood coverage rather than a narrow spotlight effect. This suits lighting building facades, car parks, loading bays and general outdoor areas where broad illumination is needed.

How is it mounted?

The stainless steel bracket on the rear of the floodlight has slotted holes for wall fixing or ground-spike mounting. The bracket allows the floodlight to tilt on installation to aim the beam where needed. The 30cm cable lead needs to be connected to mains supply via a weatherproof junction box.
