Description

The Energizer 20W LED floodlight delivers 2,400 lumens of daylight-white light at 6500K from an integrated LED array housed in a compact black aluminium body with IP65 weatherproofing. The 120° beam angle provides wide coverage across driveways, garden perimeters, loading bays and building facades, while the IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and water jets from any direction.

Designed for permanent outdoor installation, the floodlight mounts on a pivoting bracket that allows the head to be angled between horizontal and near-vertical, enabling precise aiming at walls, paths or specific zones. The 6500K colour temperature produces a crisp, high-contrast light that renders colour accurately for security camera footage and makes surface detail visible at distance. At 0.37kg the floodlight can be mounted to rendered brick, timber cladding or fence posts without requiring heavy-duty fixings.

The non-dimmable LED operates on 230V mains and draws 20W continuously when powered. With no motion sensor or photocell onboard, the floodlight requires an external timer, photocell or manual switch to control when it operates. The aluminium housing dissipates heat without requiring cooling vents, keeping the IP65 seal intact and preventing moisture or insect ingress into the electronics.

The integrated LED design means there are no user-replaceable bulbs or drivers — the entire LED array is sealed inside the housing for the life of the unit. Energizer rates typical LED lifespan at 30,000 hours under normal operating conditions, equivalent to approximately 10 years of operation at 8 hours per night.

No. This model is a standard floodlight without a PIR sensor or photocell. It requires connection to an external timer, photocell switch, or manual wall switch to control when it operates.

What does IP65 weatherproofing cover?

IP65 protects against dust ingress and water jets from any direction. This makes the floodlight suitable for fully exposed outdoor locations including walls, eaves, fence posts and coastal areas with rain and wind.

Can the beam angle be adjusted?

The 120° beam angle is fixed by the LED array and reflector inside the housing. The mounting bracket allows the entire head to tilt and aim the beam, but the spread of the beam itself cannot be narrowed or widened.

How is the floodlight wired?

The floodlight connects to 230V mains via a cable gland on the rear of the housing. A qualified electrician should install the floodlight and connect it to the mains supply, either direct or via a switched fused spur.
