Description
The Energizer 10W LED floodlight is a compact outdoor security and area light built around a die-cast aluminium body with an IP65 weatherproof rating. The integrated LED produces 900 lumens at 6,500K, giving a cool daylight white output suitable for driveways, garden perimeters, garage entrances and workplace loading areas. The 120-degree beam angle covers a wide zone without needing multiple units for typical residential paths and driveways.
Designed for year-round outdoor use, the IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, allowing the floodlight to operate through rain, snow and hose-down cleaning. The PC prismatic diffuser spreads light evenly across the beam angle, reducing harsh hotspots and glare. The quick-fix bracket accepts an Allen key fixing and allows the light head to tilt vertically once mounted, so you can adjust the beam direction after installation without re-fixing the bracket.
The floodlight operates across a -20°C to 40°C temperature range, handling UK winter cold and summer heat without performance drop. The die-cast aluminium dissipates LED heat passively, with no fan or moving parts. At 10W draw and 900 lumens output the floodlight delivers 90 lumens per watt, which is typical for a compact LED security light. The Class 1 electrical classification requires an earth connection on installation. At 310g the unit is light enough for single-person fitting onto brick, block or timber surfaces.

Frequently Asked
Is this suitable for bathroom use?
The IP65 rating makes the floodlight suitable for outdoor use and for bathroom zones 1, 2 and 3, but not zone 0 (inside a shower cubicle or bath). For typical bathroom installations an IP44-rated downlight or wall light is a more appropriate product type.
What mounting surface does the bracket require?
The quick-fix bracket is designed for solid surfaces such as brick, block, rendered masonry or timber cladding. The bracket uses Allen key fixings and allows vertical tilt adjustment after installation. Surface fixings are not included and must be selected based on the substrate.
Is it motion-sensor compatible?
This model has no built-in sensor. It can be wired to an external PIR motion sensor or switched separately, but adding a sensor requires additional components and wiring by a qualified electrician.
What colour is the housing?
The die-cast aluminium body is finished in black. The front diffuser is a clear PC prismatic material that distributes the 6,500K daylight white LED output evenly across the 120-degree beam.
