The Abstraction 5 Light Ceiling Light brings together matt black and brushed brass in a single fitting. Five clear ribbed glass spheres sit across the frame, catching and softening the light as it passes through the textured surface. The mix of dark and warm metal gives it a grounded, considered look that holds its own without shouting. The glass spheres are included in the price, though you will need to supply your own lamps as these are not provided.

The fitting measures 450mm in diameter and 250mm in height, so it suits a good spread across a ceiling. It takes 5 x G9 lamps, each up to 5W, for a maximum fitting wattage of 25W and an output of around 1250 lumens. The light is dimmable, letting you set the level to suit the room and the time of day.
