Description

The Christie wall light brings together a brushed bronze finish and a soft, off-white cotton shade for a warm and practical look. It is a two-part fitting: a main light beneath the shade, and a built-in LED directional reading light that you can angle to suit. The cotton shade is included in the price, and the lamps are not supplied, so you can choose the E27 bulb that suits your room. The finish sits comfortably against both painted and papered walls.

The fitting measures 350mm in height and 200mm in width, and weighs 0.80kg. It takes two lamps in total, one E27 and the integrated LED, with a maximum of 15W per lamp and a maximum fitting wattage of 19W. The LED reading light runs at a warm 3000K colour temperature. There are two switches on the backplate, and the LED reading light is independently switched. The E27 lamp is controlled through the switches here, though for projects the light is also available with the E27 unswitched, so it works from a normal wall switch. It is non-dimmable, rated IP20 and Class 1, so it is for interior use only.

The Christie works well beside a bed, an armchair or a favourite reading spot, where the directional LED gives you focused light without waking the whole room. It also suits hallways and landings that want a little warmth. We supply it from our Christie range with the shade included and the lamps to be added separately.
