Description

The LED Fire Rated Chrome Downlight is an adjustable recessed spotlight with a die-cast body and an interchangeable aluminium bezel in a chrome finish. The head tilts, so you can angle the light towards a wall, a picture or a work surface rather than straight down. The built-in LED uses a citizen light source at 2700K, a warm white tone that suits living spaces and quieter corners of the home. There is no glass or shade with this fitting, so the clean chrome bezel sits neatly against the ceiling.

The downlight measures 90mm in diameter and holds a single integrated LED lamp, which is supplied with the fitting. Maximum fitting wattage is 8.5W, with a maximum of 9W per lamp, giving an output of 623 lumens. It is dimmable and comes with a trailing edge dimmable driver, so you can set the level to suit the room when paired with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting is IP20 rated for interior use, is Class 1 for electrical safety, and is BS476 fire rated. It weighs 1.10kg. Because the bezel is interchangeable, you can swap it later if you wish, though only the chrome finish is included here.

This downlight works well through a hall, a kitchen, a bedroom or a bathroom ceiling, wherever you want a low-profile fixed light with a warm glow.
