Stealth Table Lamp - Brass & Black

The Stealth is a 62cm sculptural table lamp built from three vertical metal fins rising out of a cylindrical black base. The outer faces of the fins are finished in matt black, while the inner curves are coated in a warm brass tone that catches the light from the three concealed E27 bulbs. The 19cm depth keeps the footprint tight, so the lamp reads as a single tall column rather than a wide fixture.

The architectural form suits home offices, console tables in entryways, sideboards in lounge areas, and bedside positions where a taller-than-average table lamp is wanted. Three E27 sockets sit hidden inside the black outer fins, casting light upward and outward through the gaps between fins. The result is an indirect glow that washes the brass interior and reflects warm light into the room rather than producing a hard downward beam.

The all-metal construction gives the lamp a substantial feel, and the matt black exterior pairs cleanly with industrial, modern and high-contrast interiors. The brass interior only becomes visible when viewed from above or when lit, so the lamp shifts character between day and evening use. The cable exits at the rear of the base and the lamp is supplied with an inline switch for standard 13A plug connection. Bulbs are sold separately; E27 GLS filament bulbs work particularly well, exposing a warm filament glow against the brass lining.

Where does the light come from?

Three E27 sockets are concealed inside the black outer fins, set above the base. Light is cast upward and outward through the gaps between the fins, washing the brass-coloured inner surfaces and producing an ambient glow rather than a focused task beam.

Is it suitable for use as a bedside lamp?

Yes, provided the bedside table can accommodate the 62cm height. The lamp produces ambient rather than direct reading light, so pair it with a separate reading light if directed task lighting is needed for in-bed reading.
