This Knightsbridge 9-gang grid faceplate provides nine euro module apertures in a 208x148mm anthracite screwless plate. The plate accepts any standard 25x50mm euro modules — HDMI, RJ45 data, USB charging ports, coaxial TV sockets, and telephone — allowing complete customisation of a media wall, AV rack or workstation panel. The screwless cover clips onto a separate metal mounting frame, concealing all fixings once installed.

Designed for bespoke AV installations, the 9-gang layout suits dedicated media walls behind wall-mounted TVs, home cinema equipment racks, and commercial presentation spaces where multiple connection types need to converge at a single point. The anthracite finish is a near-black grey tone that blends with darker wall colours and provides a subtle contrast against lighter walls without the starkness of pure black. IP20 rating restricts this faceplate to dry indoor locations only.

What modules does this faceplate accept?

The plate accepts any standard 25x50mm euro module inserts, including HDMI, RJ45 data sockets, USB charging ports, coaxial TV sockets, satellite F-connectors, and telephone sockets. Modules are sold separately and click into the grid apertures from the front once the cover is removed.

Is the screwless cover removable for redecorating?

Yes. The anthracite cover clips onto a separate metal mounting frame that is screw-fixed to the back box. The cover can be unclipped for painting or decorating around the faceplate and re-fitted without disturbing the wiring or modules.

What back box is required?

A 9-gang grid plate typically requires a 47mm deep twin-gang or larger metal back box, with sufficient space to accommodate the modules you plan to install. Consult a qualified electrician to confirm the correct back box size for your specific module combination.

Can this be used in bathrooms or kitchens?

The IP20 rating means this faceplate is suitable only for dry indoor locations. It should not be installed within bathroom zones or in areas subject to direct water exposure or high humidity.
