Description

The Knightsbridge 20A 1-gang double-pole switch combines a smoked bronze screwless faceplate with a matching rocker and integrated red neon indicator. The 20A rating makes this switch suitable for controlling fixed appliances including water heaters, instantaneous showers, and storage heaters that require higher current capacity than a standard 10A lighting circuit can provide.

Double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the switch is turned off, providing additional safety over single-pole switching for high-draw appliances. The neon indicator glows red when the circuit is live, giving visual confirmation that power is reaching the connected appliance without needing to check at the appliance itself. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, hiding all fixings for a cleaner finish on the wall.

The smoked bronze finish presents as a dark gunmetal with subtle brown undertones, sitting between charcoal grey and aged bronze in tone. The premium-grade steel construction gives a 4.3mm projection from the wall once installed, fitting a standard 25mm minimum back box depth. The integrated gasket behind the faceplate helps reduce dust ingress around the rocker aperture. Certified to EN 60669-1 with IP20 rating for general indoor use and a 25-year warranty.
