The Knightsbridge 20A 1-gang DP switch provides double-pole switching for fixed appliances such as water heaters, immersion heaters and other high-draw devices requiring dedicated 20A circuits. The switch isolates both live and neutral lines when turned off, offering additional safety over single-pole switching for appliances that remain permanently wired. The smoked bronze screwless faceplate measures 87.5mm square with a 4.3mm projection from the wall once fitted.

Designed for residential and light commercial installations, the switch fits a standard UK 25mm minimum back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. This means there are no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed, giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed plates. The built-in gasket between the faceplate and sub-frame improves seal quality and reduces movement once clipped into place.

The smoked bronze finish is a dark grey-brown metallic tone that sits between gunmetal and bronze, offering a warmer alternative to matt black or polished chrome. The premium-grade steel construction and screwless design pair well with contemporary and industrial interiors where visible fixings would disrupt the wall finish.
