The Knightsbridge 13A 1-gang SP switched socket combines a single switched outlet with one USB-A and one USB-C fast-charge port behind a smoked bronze screwless faceplate with a black insert. The USB-C port delivers up to 18W over a single port or 20W total (5V DC, 4.0A shared) when both ports charge simultaneously, supporting Power Delivery (PD) and Quick Charge (QC) protocols for adaptive charging based on device requirements.

Designed for residential, hospitality and commercial installation, the socket fits a 35mm minimum back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, eliminating visible fixings. The single-pole switching isolates the live line when the socket is switched off. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 2,990W. Fast-charge capability can boost compatible devices from 0-50% battery in approximately 30 minutes, slowing past 70% to protect battery health.

The smoked bronze finish provides a warm metallic accent with subtle grey-brown undertones that pair well with industrial, mid-century and warm contemporary interiors. The black insert behind the bronze faceplate conceals the back of the cover plate and defines each outlet aperture.
