Description
The Tsunami Spiral is a compact LED wall light built around a helical curve of sand white acrylic, 250mm high and 160mm wide, housing an integrated 12W LED module that emits 900 lumens of 3000K warm white light. The spiral shape wraps around a central vertical axis, creating a sculptural silhouette that casts light both forward through the acrylic and outward along the curve.
Designed for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and stairwells where wall-mounted accent lighting is needed without the bulk of a traditional sconce, the Tsunami Spiral projects 120mm from the wall and weighs 0.58kg, making it suitable for plasterboard installation with standard fixings. The wide acrylic diffuser softens the LED source so there are no visible hotspots or glare when viewed from the side. Multiple units can be spaced along a corridor or staircase to create rhythm, or a single unit can mark a feature wall or alcove.
The sand white finish is a soft off-white with a slight warm undertone, closer to cream than pure white, which complements both neutral and warm-toned interiors. The acrylic diffuser is smooth and seamless, with no visible joints or seams along the spiral curve. The LED is non-dimmable and fixed at 3000K, giving consistent warm white output across the lifespan of the module. Mantra covers the fitting with a 3-year warranty.

Frequently Asked
Is the Tsunami Spiral dimmable?
No. The integrated LED is fixed at 12W and 3000K warm white, and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The LED module cannot be replaced with a dimmable variant.
What size room does it suit?
At 900 lumens the Tsunami Spiral provides accent lighting rather than primary room illumination. It suits bedrooms, hallways, staircases and living rooms as decorative wall wash or to mark specific architectural features. For a typical bedroom or hallway it can be used solo; for larger living spaces or to create visual rhythm along a corridor, multiple units work better.
Can it be installed on plasterboard walls?
Yes. At 0.58kg the fitting is light enough for standard plasterboard fixings such as cavity anchors or metal toggle bolts. The backplate mounts flush to the wall surface, and the 120mm projection clears most standard skirting depths.
How is the acrylic diffuser cleaned?
Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid household sprays, polishes or abrasive cleaners, which can scratch or dull the acrylic finish.
