Description

The Torch is a 1100mm linear suspension light built around a narrow 19mm-wide sand white body housing an integrated 22W LED strip. The LED runs the full length of the body and emits 1750 lumens of 3000K warm white light through a frosted acrylic diffuser, spreading a 120° beam angle along the length of the fixture. The sand white finish is a matte powder coat with a subtle grain texture.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and workbenches where linear task lighting is needed without bulk, the Torch's 19mm width keeps the fixture visually minimal while the 1100mm length provides coverage across a 2-2.5m surface. The suspension cables are adjustable from 70mm to 1600mm drop, allowing the light to be positioned 600-800mm above a worktop or 700-900mm above a dining table depending on ceiling height and use. The rectangular ceiling canopy measures approximately 150mm and fixes to a standard UK ceiling rose.

The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated at 22W on 220-240V mains, providing approximately 80 lumens per watt. The frosted acrylic diffuser hides the individual LED diodes when the light is on, creating a continuous line of illumination without visible hotspots. The sand white finish sits between pure white and off-white, reading as a neutral warm tone under daylight and matching off-white painted ceilings more naturally than stark white finishes.

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at full brightness when switched on. If dimming is required, a separate dimmer-compatible LED driver would need to be installed by a qualified electrician, which may void the warranty.

What length surface does it cover?

The 1100mm length with 120° beam angle provides good coverage for kitchen islands, dining tables and workbenches between 2-2.5m long. For longer surfaces, multiple Torch fittings can be installed in parallel.

What height should it hang above a table or worktop?

For kitchen islands and worktops, 600-800mm above the surface is typical. For dining tables, 700-900mm works well, keeping the light out of direct sightlines when seated while still providing good task illumination. The adjustable cables accommodate ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards.

Can the sand white body be cleaned?

Yes. The matte powder coat finish can be wiped with a dry or barely-damp microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, polishes or chemical sprays that may damage the finish or the acrylic diffuser.
