Description
The Tahiti Wave is a 315mm-wide LED wall light formed as a single flowing wave in matt white, housing an integrated 6W LED module that casts 215 lumens of 3000K warm white light through the curved form. The wave profile creates a subtle diffusion effect, with light washing across the wall surface and reflecting back through the white finish to give a soft ambient glow rather than a directed beam.
Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living room accent walls and corridors where decorative rather than task lighting is needed, the Tahiti Wave mounts flush to the wall with a 70mm projection from the surface. The 120° beam angle spreads light horizontally along the wall, making it suitable for marking doorways or creating visual rhythm in longer hallways when installed in multiples. The wave form is asymmetric, rising and falling across the 315mm length, so positioning matters — install with the higher point on the side that best suits the surrounding architecture.
The matt white finish is moulded into the body rather than painted on, giving a consistent tone that does not chip or discolour under normal use. At 0.36kg the fitting is light enough for plasterboard walls with appropriate fixings, and the integrated LED removes the need for bulb replacement under the 3-year warranty period. The Tahiti Wave is not dimmable and runs on 100-240V mains, making it compatible with UK and international voltage without adapters.

Frequently Asked
Is the Tahiti Wave dimmable?
No. The integrated LED module is not compatible with dimmer switches and should be wired to a standard on/off circuit only.
How bright is 215 lumens?
At 215lm the Tahiti Wave provides ambient accent lighting rather than task illumination. For context, a typical 40W incandescent bulb produces around 400-450lm. This fitting is designed to create atmosphere and mark architectural features, not to light a room on its own.
Can it be installed in a bathroom?
The specification does not list an IP rating, so the Tahiti Wave is intended for dry internal locations only. It should not be installed in zones 1, 2 or 3 of a bathroom where water splashes or steam are present.
What type of wall fixings are needed?
At 0.36kg the fitting is light enough for plasterboard walls with appropriate cavity fixings, or masonry walls with standard wall plugs and screws. The exact fixings depend on your wall type — the fitting includes a mounting plate that accepts screws through pre-drilled holes.
