Description

The Sola is a compact ceiling fan with a rounded, globe inspired motor housing and a matt white finish that settles quietly into most rooms. The 34 inch blade span suits smaller spaces, making it a sensible choice for bedrooms, home offices, hallways and covered outdoor areas such as porches and verandas. Because it is damp rated and carries an IP23 rating, you can use it in exterior locations where it may meet a little moisture, as well as indoors.

Airflow comes from an AC motor with three forward speeds, plus a reverse setting for gentle winter circulation and a motor off option when you only want the light. Everything is handled by the included remote control, so you can adjust speed, switch direction and dim the LED without leaving your seat. The integrated 10W LED light is dimmable, and for anyone who prefers a fan without a light, a metal fixture cap is supplied to cover the fitting. Running noise sits at a low 38.8 dBa, quiet enough to leave on through the night or while you work.

Installation is flush mount only, which keeps the fan close to the ceiling and works well in rooms with a lower ceiling height where a dropped fan would feel too near your head. Note that no downrod is included, so this is designed to sit flush rather than hang. The blades are made from ABS, and the whole fixture is built to keep its shape and finish over time. It is backed by a limited lifetime guarantee, so you can fit it knowing the motor and housing are covered for the long term.
