Description

The Nur II is a curved LED wall light with two integrated LED tubes arranged in an S-shaped configuration on a polished chrome backplate. Each tube houses a 6W LED module running at 3000K, giving a combined 12W output and 900 lumens of warm white light diffused through opal acrylic. A built-in rocker switch sits on the chrome backplate, allowing the light to be controlled without needing a separate wall switch.

Designed for bedside positions, hallway walls and living room accent lighting, the Nur II provides ambient rather than task lighting. The 400mm height and 180mm projection from the wall give the fitting physical presence without dominating smaller rooms. The curved tubes cast light in all directions — up, down and outward — rather than directing it to a single point, making the fitting itself the visual focus. The built-in switch is particularly useful for bedside installation where reaching a wall switch across the room is inconvenient.

The polished chrome frame is reflective under daylight and complements contemporary and modern interiors. The opal acrylic diffuser hides the LED strip inside and prevents glare when viewed from any angle. The combined weight of 0.85kg and 160mm width mean the fitting can be mounted on plasterboard with appropriate fixings, though solid backing gives the most secure installation. The integrated LEDs are rated for 25,000+ hours of operation and are not user-replaceable.

No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. The built-in rocker switch provides on/off control only.

Can the LED be replaced when it fails?

No. The LED modules are integrated into the fixture and are not user-replaceable. The LEDs are rated for 25,000+ hours of operation, which equates to approximately 10 years of typical residential use at 6-8 hours per day.

What wall fixing is recommended?

The fitting weighs 0.85kg. On solid walls, standard plugs and screws into brick or masonry provide adequate support. On plasterboard, use cavity fixings rated for at least 2kg per fixing point to ensure secure mounting.

Is the light suitable for bathrooms?

The Nur II carries no IP rating and is designed for dry indoor use only. It is not suitable for bathroom zones requiring splash protection (IP44 or higher).
